WBGS coming next Tuesday!

It’s that time again! Cut out of work early, get a sitter for the kids, put on your best comfy clothes, and come on out to the Wilmington Board Game Social at Wilmington Brew Works! This coming Tuesday, November 11th at 5PM, we will be there with an even larger game library, and an even larger mission:

Due to the federal shut-down, SNAP benefits may not be fully funded. Since 1 in 8 Americans (about 12.5%!!) rely on food assistance, this will leave many families facing increased food insecurity.

For the month of November, WGBS is donating all entrance fees to Emmanuel Dining Room, and the founders of WBGS will MATCH your donations! Let’s work together to love and protect our community. ❤

And thanks to the generosity of David Schley of CrossCountry Mortgage http://www.MortgageGuySly.com, we have a copy of Wavelength – a great social game that scales up well – to raffle off at our next meet up on Nov 11!

To enter the raffle, bring a nonperishable food donation for the Food Bank of Delaware. One food item = one raffle ticket. You can bring as many food items as you want, and you’ll get an equal number of tickets.

Also: We are (provisionally) adding one more day to the roster. Here’s the schedule for this month!!

  • November 25th at Wilmington Brew Works North on Marsh Road!!!
